Happy Mother’s Day!…and Prom, and Graduation

It is officially Glass Tangerine’s biggest week of the year. We’ve all exchanged a knowing glance and made a joke about a calm, leisurely weekend before running home to soak up as much rest as possible. Flower orders are arriving at the shop every day now, and it isn’t even just for Mother’s Day. Prom, Tennessee Tech’s graduation, and the general desire for May flowers after long April showers has us working hard to find time to breathe! But if you know us, you know that we love it. We thrive in the chaos of the busy season, and this week really proves that.
We are firm believers in celebrating life milestones. It is such an important part of being alive, and flowers are one of the oldest ways in the world to celebrate. Each of us here at the shop have built bouquets for engagements, weddings, birthdays, dances, and a million other happy moments in need of celebration. We are always truly honored to be a part of your moments, and Mother’s Day is especially important for us this year, with our very own Emma Crabtree becoming a mom herself soon. We’re so excited to craft every single arrangement this weekend, and we hope that you’ll post pictures so we can see them! (And we’ll repost them; we’re proud parents.)
